Description

For our Finance department, we are currently looking for a Financial Planning & Analysis Manager (m/f/d). We are looking for a candidate who has strong experience in business planning, performance analysis and financial modelling, backed by a solid understanding of German GAAP accounting. Our ideal candidate has a drive to achieve goals, is a digital native and is ready to enlarge the scope of their role to additionally support the finance team in further areas such as Treasury / Cash Management and Investor Relations.

Even though experience in a different SaaS-organisations would be great, we welcome people with relevant experience from other industries, including consulting backgrounds such as Transaction Advisory Services.

Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate and timely financial forecasting, budgeting, and analysis to support strategic decision-making.
  • Develop and update financial models to project long-term growth and impact of various business initiatives.
  • Conduct variance analysis between actual financial performance and forecasts/budgets, identifying trends and recommending actions.
  • Collaborate with department heads to optimize cost management and profitability across the organization.
  • Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Prepare materials for investor meetings, earnings calls, and other events.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field. A master’s degree / MBA or a professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is a plus.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in finance, with a focus on financial planning & analysis. Experience in treasury and investor relations is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of financial statements, corporate finance, and financial modeling.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information clearly and concisely.
  • Native or near-native English is required for this role. Strong German skills are a big plus.
  • Proactive, strategic thinker with excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities, with a track record of managing teams and cross-functional projects.
